Round up of My Fitness Faves

Since we are coming to the end of January, I thought I would do a round up of my favorite fitness items for the month.  I know January is huge for people setting fitness goals, losing weight and trying to adapt a healthier lifestyle.  These items that I am sharing help me stay on track with my fitness goals and tracking my macros.  I have everything from supplements, to snacks and even my must have leggings so you can crush any workout!!

  1. Protein Powder.  I have tried a ton of protein powder over the years.  Let’s face it..some of them can be downright disgusting!  I have narrowed it down to my top 2 that I think are delicious and easy to drink.  The first one is Devotion.  The great thing about this protein powder is how easy it is to bake with.  They have some recipes on their website. Protein pancakes are my favorite!  The best flavor, I think is the sweet potato pie.  This tastes great just mixed with water!  It blends so easy and has no aftertaste.  My second choice is the Beverly International  protein powder.  They have a several flavors and my favorite is Graham Cracker.  This is another powder that is delicious mixed with water.  If you have had trouble finding a protein powder you like, try one of these!  I think you will love it!
  2.  BCAAs. I never knew these existed until I started following Grace White.  She was always talking about BCAAs and how important they were when working out.  I have tried a few different brands and I have narrowed it down to 2.  The first one is Xtend.  There are a variety of flavors.  The one I have purchased over and over is Freedom Ice.  It tastes just like a bomb pop!  The second one I recently found is Alani Nu.  The only flavor I have tried is the Sour Peach Rings and it is so good!  I look forward to trying more.  I have to have these to workout.  If I don’t I feel like I am missing something!  I put one scoop in my blender bottle and add 8 ounces of water.  Once you try these you will not want to be without them!
  3. Quest Chips (Tortilla Style). I was a huge pop chip fan until I found these.  My macro coach put these in my plan and they are amazingly good!  The Nacho flavor by far is my favorite.  The Loaded Taco is a close second followed by the Chili Lime and Ranch.  These are an excellent source of protein.  If you like Doritos, you will defiantly fall in love with the Nacho flavor.
  4. Built bars. These are something else I did not know about until my coach put them on my plan.  Again, I know there are some protein bars that are just not good.  These are THE best protein bar out there.  They taste like a yummy, chocolate candy bar.  I haven’t had a flavor that I didn’t like.  I eat these about 4 to 5 times a week.  I keep them in the fridge.  It’s so easy to grab one for a snack in the afternoon.
  5. Booty Bands (Fabric). You can pretty much get these anywhere.  I linked some up on my previous post about home gym necessities.  I like the fabric ones.  They stay in place and don’t roll up and pinch like the rubber ones do.  I use a size medium.  I love to use these on leg days during my warm up to activate my glutes.
  6. Colorfulkoala.  Last but not least I wanted to include my favorite workout leggings.  A lot of people on Instagram talk about how these compare to the Lululemon Algin leggings.  I do not own anything Lululemon, but these leggings are the best!  The are buttery soft and hold everything in.  They are high wasted and squat proof.  They are defiantly true to size.  If you are between sizes, I recommend size down.  If you wash these on delicate and hang to dry they will last you forever!
